T J McNamara stated,"The surfaces are impressive, ranging from delicately shaded backgrounds to plain circles of almost dazzling colour. The surfaces, which are mostly higly polished, have been created by the application of layer after layer of paint. December - Alan Sommerville - Sculptor, Australia/New ZealandAlan Sommerville is a sculptor based in Australia who has built a reputation for major Bronze work. He was commissioned to complete the Australian Anzac Memorial Soldier for the Bridge of Remembrance on Sydney Harbour, and has just been commissioned to now bookend the bridge with a New Zealand Anzac Soldier on the other side.
