Emerging artist Ana Teofilo (NZ born Samoan), graduated with a Bachelor of visual Arts in 2013, and a Masters in 2015. Teofilo is a talented artist whose roots are firmly based around her traditional Samoan heritage. Her paintings blend harmoniously with the artist’s heritage and contemporary western art practices. There is also a nod to aboriginal art practices with beaded pathways flowing through the paintings such as those in “Never a Dull Moment”.
